EchoMRI-Birds™ is a QMR system that measures whole body fat mass, lean tissue mass, free water, and total body water in live animals up to 200 grams, without the need for anesthesia or sedation, in less than 1 minute.

It is particularly suitable for Body Composition Analysis of birds in that it has a specially elongated field of view.

It is designed for the special needs of avian researchers who follow the migration of their subjects in a mobile laboratory.

The device operation is extremely easy and does not require any background knowledge. Data analysis is automatic, with results stored in a database for future recall. Selections of stored results can be extracted either into Excel and ASCII files or into Access database.
